Care: before first use wash with warm water and a mild detergent; avoid sudden temperature changes and do not pour cold water into a hot pan; cook over medium or low heat; wipe dry after use and store in a ventilated place; use wooden or silicone utensils, avoid metal spatulas and steel wool.

The pan is sand-cast, so small pores on the surface are possible; this is a feature of the casting process.
