Care:

Before first use, wash with warm water and a mild detergent.
Avoid sudden temperature changes: do not pour cold water into a hot pan.
Cook over medium or low heat, as cast iron conducts heat very well.

The pan is sand-cast, so small pores on the surface are possible. The rim may show bare grey iron, which is not a defect; it can be wiped with vegetable oil to prevent rust.
